Breaking News: A Creative Strategist is Changing the Game in PR & Brand Storytelling
LONDON—Tennis has always been about more than just the game. It’s about stories, strategy, and impact. For Karin Zemach, it’s also been the driving force behind her journey into PR, partnerships, and creative storytelling.
A former lawyer turned brand strategist, Zemach has combined her legal precision, business acumen, and creative mindset to craft narratives that shape brands and culture. Now, she’s ready to take the next step—bringing her strategic approach to PR and partnerships to the industry’s top agencies and brands.
From Courtrooms to Campaigns: A Strategic Pivot
Born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Karin’s early passion for tennis was about more than just watching matches. She saw how players like Maria Sharapova and Naomi Osaka built brands beyond the sport, using partnerships to craft powerful, culture-shifting narratives.
That realization led to a bold career pivot. After practicing law and specializing in high-stakes negotiations, Karin took her expertise in strategy, communication, and brand positioning and applied it to sports and entertainment marketing. She pursued an MBA in global business strategy and quickly made an impact—winning the Ferrari Digital Accelerator Challenge with a $100M revenue-generating campaign focused on strategic partnerships.
Alongside her studies, she launched a tennis sponsorship initiative designed to elevate underrepresented players through brand storytelling and digital content.
"I realized that the best brand partnerships—whether in sports, fashion, or entertainment—are about more than visibility. They’re about emotional connection. PR is the bridge between brands and the audiences they inspire."
A Network Already in Play
Karin’s strategic mindset has already caught the attention of industry leaders. She has built relationships with key figures in sports marketing, including Maria Sharapova’s agent, Max Eisenbud, and Gaël Monfils’ manager, with whom she connected at the UTS Finals. She also attended Cinch Championships, experiencing firsthand one of the campaigns that Pitch Pipeline helped bring to life.
Her connection to athlete branding doesn’t stop there—Naomi Osaka herself has recognized her, sending a personal message of encouragement and interest in meeting one day.
"Naomi Osaka already knows who I am. Now, it’s time to turn that recognition into a career in PR and partnerships. She’s one of the most influential athlete storytellers in the world—are you ready to use her?"
PR That Makes an Impact: A Creative Mind for Brand Storytelling
Karin is already thinking about how brands in sports and entertainment can leverage creative partnerships and earned media strategies to stand out. She brings a fresh approach to PR and storytelling—one that blends cultural insights, brand positioning, and innovative fan engagement.
Her PR Notebook, a collection of strategic ideas, explores concepts such as: How sports brands can create immersive experiences that bring fans closer to the action;
How athletes can become the center of brand storytelling (beyond sponsorships);
How PR can turn a cultural moment into a long-term brand story.
"I don’t just want to work in PR—I want to reshape how brands connect with people. Whether through storytelling, partnerships, or earned media, I’m here to bring bold ideas to life".
